While it's true that you need to determine when to "attend class", a class schedule usually still exists. Assignments still have due dates (although many can be submitted online), and quizzes and exams usually have specific time-frames (usually several hours) during which they must be taken. Bad news, though! You won't be able to squeeze out an extra few seconds by looking sheepishly at your professor and scribbling wildly when she's asked for exams to be turned it -- the timers for the tests don't have a "leniency" button. Online bachelor degree programs are perfect for the person with a full time job or who has family they like to spend time with. Rather than trading time off between taking classes and sharing some play time with the kids before bed-time -- online classes let you "attend class" after the kids are tucked in bed. Or, if you are unable to sleep, just pad into the den and flick on the computer and there you are. You can pursue your degree full time if you have the time, or part time if work and family obligations keep you busy. While you may not ever meet your classmates face-to-face, you may actually interact with them much more. Most online classes have a forum. Within the forum, instructors lead discussions, have students post assignments for discussion or collaboration, and share interesting and exciting resources.
